About me
I'm a senior front-end developer at BTCDirect in Nijmegen, with more than eight years of experience in the web software industry. My focus is React and vanilla JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS and HTML.
Born in August 1996, I've always had a natural affinity for computers and the internet. That led me to study Communication & Multimedia Design, where I graduated in Visual Design with a focus on UX. I kickstarted my career as a UX designer at Planon Software, and along the way I saw how much a well-crafted front-end shapes a great user experience. That pulled me into front-end development, and I never looked back.
Beyond the screen I enjoy my two cats, nature walks, my garden and the meditative art of bonsai. Family time and hanging out with friends matter a lot to me too.
